Since 1997, Comfort Keepers has been providing trustworthy home care to the elderly and disabled residents of Northern Kentucky, Louisville, Kentucky and New Albany, Indiana. Kevin and Ellen Williams, CSA (Certified Senior Advisor), realized the urgent need for non-medical homecare and companionship services in order to help the elderly and disabled remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own home.

The mission of Comfort Keepers is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.

     “Comfort Keepers provides affordable, non-medical in-home care for the elderly, new mothers, adults with disabilities and those recovering from illness. These services are specifically designed for individuals or couples who are capable of handling their own physical needs, but may require or desire some assistance with the daily tasks of living. Our services include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, errand & transportation services, bathing and more… We have designed our services to offer the extra assistance needed by many people wishing to remain in the privacy and comfort of their own home by providing an alternative to nursing homes. Mom and dad don’t always need expensive skilled nursing care simply because they are losing their eyesight or having difficulty walking or remembering things. We are here to help them stay in the comfort of their own home. Our services are not just for the elderly. We also provide care to those recovering from and illness or injury as well as adults with permanent disabilities. Comfort Keepers is extremely selective when choosing our caregivers. All prospects must pass our ‘lovability test’. We select caregivers with big hearts and look for the same qualities we would want in someone caring for a member of our own family. Every applicant is carefully and thoroughly screened and has undergone a complete criminal background check as well as drug testing. Our standards are so high, only 1 in 20 applicants for a caregiver position will become a member of our staff.  We genuinely care about, and not just for, our clients! The measure of our success isn’t found on the bottom line, it’s the differences in the lives of those we care for and work with everyday!!
